Made of plastic bags and 1 gallon water jugs. Plastic bags are made of a very recycle-able type of plastic but the form is hard to process industrially as it gets caught up in the machinery. They are made of very little material so the energy expended to turn it back into a pellet for reuse is not efficiently deployed. The real value of the material is in the story the graphic tells. Each clock is one-of-a kind.
